Why volunteer?
The LES Media Center is a wonderful, busy place with excellent resources for students and staff. Your active participation shows your children how much you value libraries, books, and reading!
General Procedures
Volunteers perform routine circulation desks tasks, assist students with locating materials using the Destiny catalog, shelve books, and help with light cleaning. Other tasks may be offered on an as needed basis.
Why are volunteers important?
* Increase adult to student ratio
* Encourages reading
* Library stays more organized
* Students find books more easily
Things to know when volunteering
* Every student is allowed to check out 2 books, but only one can be FICTION.
* Library computers are not personal use.
* Please do not bring children with you to volunteer.
* You must check in when volunteering through the office
* Volunteer sticker must be visible.Volunteers are always welcomed!
